Job summary

ASCO Equipment in Lubbock, TX is seeking a Parts Counter Specialist to assist customers and service technicians with parts needs. You will coordinate parts ordering, tracking, and inventory to minimize downtime and support repairs and preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities include helping customers, identifying parts by machine details, fulfilling orders, and maintaining inventory with accuracy. Spanish speaking is a preferred bonus for serving a diverse client base.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a parts specialist or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume dealership.
• Detail oriented with strong time management and teamwork skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills; familiarity with G-Suite and parts programs.
• Spanish speaking preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service with warm greetings and eagerness to help.
• Identify machine make/model/serial numbers by asking targeted questions.
• Investigate part needs and determine additional parts required.
• Fulfill parts orders from in-stock inventory or place orders to meet demand.
• Match orders with packing slips accurately.
• Collect customer payment information/POs and contact past due accounts.
• Use online manuals or microfiche to identify parts correctly.
• Maintain accurate parts inventory.
