ASCO Equipment in Terrell, Texas is seeking a Parts Counter Specialist to assist customers and service technicians with parts needs and inventory control. You will coordinate ordering, tracking, and fulfillment to minimize downtime for repairs and preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a parts specialist is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast paced/high volume dealership.
• Detail oriented, time management, and teamwork skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills, and experience with G-Suite & other parts programs.
• A personal dedication to work safety and with accountability.
• Spanish Speaking Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service with warm greetings and eagerness to help.
• Identify machine make/model/serial numbers by asking questions.
• Investigate part needs and determine additional parts required.
• Fulfill parts orders with in-stock inventory and place orders to meet needs.
• Match orders with packing slips accurately.
• Collect payment information/POs and call on past due accounts.
• Utilize manuals/web resources to identify parts needed.
• Maintain accurate parts inventory.
