Job summary

Sherwin-Williams in the United States is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to work closely with wholesale and retail customers, determine needs, answer questions, and recommend solutions. You will resolve concerns, maintain product quality, and support store sales goals.

The role requires English and Spanish proficiency, ability to lift up to 70 lbs occasionally, and a willingness to work evenings and weekends in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English.
• Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 70 lbs occasionally.
• Must be willing to work evenings and weekends.
• Internal Sherwin-Williams employees must have a “meets expectations” rating and completed HR eLearning.
• Experience in delivery, retail, or customer service is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting products and services.
• Build productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
• Process sales transactions accurately and in line with policies.
• Follow and achieve sales goals monthly, quarterly, and yearly.
• Maintain accurate work orders and stock records.
• Pull products from floor or warehouse and tint/mix to customer specs.
• Stock shelves and set up displays; clean store equipment.
• Load/unload delivery trucks and assist in deliveries when needed.
• Maintain in-stock and presentable conditions in assigned areas.
• Remain knowledgeable about products and discuss available options.
