Job summary

Sherwin-Williams is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to work with wholesale and retail customers, determine needs, answer questions about products, and recommend solutions to ensure high customer satisfaction.

You will handle sales transactions, maintain accurate records, restock shelves, tint and mix products to customer specifications, and support store operations while pursuing monthly sales goals. Fluency in English and Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English.
• Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally.
• Must be willing to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services.
• Build productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
• Process sales transactions accurately and in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Follow and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
• Maintain precise work order files and documentation.
• Pull appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse.
• Tint and mix products as needed to customer specifications.
• Stock shelves and set up displays.
• Clean store equipment.
• Assist in making deliveries, as needed.
• Maintain in-stock and presentable condition of assigned areas.
• Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options.
• Comply with inventory control procedures.
• Suggest ways to improve sales.
