Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking a Customer Service Specialist in the Silver Spring area to assist customers in person and by phone, determine needs, and recommend products. You will help process transactions, tint and mix paints, and stock displays while meeting sales goals.

Ideal candidates are bilingual (English/Spanish) with strong communication skills, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 70 lbs on occasion. This role requires flexibility for evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country without sponsorship.
• Must read/write/communicate in English and Spanish.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and 70 lbs occasionally.
• Willing to work evenings and weekends.
• Internal Sherwin-Williams: meets expectations rating and HR Cloud eLearning completed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through sales service.
• Assist customers in person and by phone; determine needs and present products.
• Build trust with wholesale and retail customers.
• Process sales transactions accurately.
• Follow and achieve monthly, quarterly, yearly sales goals.
• Maintain accurate work order files and formulas.
• Pull products from floor/warehouse; tint and mix as needed.
• Stock shelves, set up displays; clean equipment.
• Load/unload delivery trucks; assist with deliveries.
• Maintain in-stock, presentable areas; stay knowledgeable on products.
