Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is hiring Customer Service Specialists to assist customers in person and by phone, recommend products, and help achieve store sales goals. You will help with tinting and mixing, stocking shelves, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Roles require English and Spanish proficiency, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 70 pounds. Evening/weekend availability and previous retail experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Eighteen years of age or older.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Proficient reading, writing and speaking English.
• Proficient reading, writing and speaking Spanish.
• Valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally.
• Willing to work evenings and weekends as scheduled.
• Internal Sherwin-Williams employee: meets expectations rating.
• Internal Sherwin-Williams employee: HR Cloud eLearning completed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting products and services.
• Build productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
• Process sales transactions accurately and consistent with policies and procedures.
• Follow and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
• Maintain precise work order files and formulas.
• Pull appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse.
• Tint and mix products to customer specifications.
• Stock shelves and set up displays.
• Clean store equipment.
• Load/unload delivery trucks.
• Assist in making deliveries, as needed.
• Maintain in-stock and presentable condition assigned areas.
• Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options.
• Comply with inventory control procedures.
• Suggest ways to improve sales.
