Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to assist customers in stores within the local area, answering questions and recommending paint and related products. You will help with stock, displays, and accurate sales transactions, while aiming for high customer satisfaction.

Applicants must be 18+, legally eligible to work in the United States, fluent in English and Spanish, with the ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work evenings or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish.
• Valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion.
• Willing to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services.
• Build productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
• Process sales transactions accurately and in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Follow and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
• Pull appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse.
• Tint and mix products, as needed, to customer specifications.
• Stock shelves and set up displays.
• Assist in deliveries when needed.
• Maintain in-stock and presentable conditions in assigned areas.
