Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to assist customers in person and by phone, determine needs, and present suitable paint and related products. You will build trust with wholesale and retail customers while ensuring accurate sales processing and inventory control.

This role requires bilingual English/Spanish communication, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to lift up to 70 lbs.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old
Must be legally authorized to work without sponsorship
Ability to read, write, comprehend and communicate in English
Ability to read, write, comprehend and communicate in Spanish
Lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally
Willing to work evenings and weekends
Internal Sherwin-Williams ratings and HR eLearning completed

Responsibilities

Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services
Build productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers
Process sales transactions accurately and consistent with policies and procedures
Follow and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
Maintain in-stock and presentable condition in assigned areas
Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options
Comply with inventory control procedures
Suggest ways to improve sales
Assist in deliveries as needed
