ReFocus Eye Health in East Hartford, CT, is seeking a Bilingual Healthcare Call Center Associate to join our ophthalmology practice. The role acts as a liaison between the company and patients, owning the resolution of issues, complaints, and inquiries while maintaining patient satisfaction.

General office support and clerical tasks are also involved. Responsibilities include handling high call volumes, routing calls, collecting patient data, scheduling appointments, and verifying insurance

Formación

• Ability to handle call volume with grace and a friendly customer service attitude.
• Willingness to learn new skills within 6-month period.
• Available to work Monday through Friday, as well as occasional Saturdays.
• Excellent data entry and typing skills.
• Superb customer service skills.

Responsabilidades

• Managing large amounts of inbound calls in a timely manner.
• Route calls to appropriate resources.
• Identify patient needs and clarify information provided.
• Research issues and provide solutions and/or alternatives.
• Enter patient information into EMR; obtain and verify patient demographics.
• Update existing patient information.
• Scan documentation into the patient’s electronic chart.
• Schedule appointments.
• Verify insurance benefits and co-payments.
