Job summary

HR Jobs in Indianapolis is seeking a dedicated onsite staffing and recruiting specialist to manage full-cycle recruitment for light industrial roles at a client location. You will own end-to-end processes from sourcing to placement and ensure smooth onboarding.

You will partner with hiring managers, conduct orientations and safety training, handle payroll reports, maintain Tempworks records, and drive attendance to daily operations while upholding GMPs and PPE standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of full-cycle recruiting in high-volume environments.
• Bilingual English and Spanish required.
• Experience in light industrial staffing and warehouse roles.
• Strong computer skills including Word and Excel; ATS experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-service recruitment for skilled labor and light industrial positions.
• Support filling client temporary orders and temp-to-hire placements.
• Serve as central contact for hiring managers and recruiting to identify openings.
• Conduct orientations and safety training, GMPs, PPE requirements.
• Perform daily check-ins with XCEL employees and report absences or tardiness.
• Update employee and client profiles and records using Tempworks.
• Produce and maintain heavy report generation.
• Prepare payroll and related payroll reports.
• Walk production floor, perform quality checks, and handle disciplinary actions.
• Maintain relationships with candidates, employees, and management.
• Recruit from local community via word of mouth, social media, and flyers.
• Implement company culture, values, and policies onsite.
• Coordinate employee recognition company events.

Job description

Manage onsite staffing operations and drive full-cycle recruiting for light industrial roles at a client location in Indianapolis.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-service recruitment for skilled labor and light industrial positions including warehouse, manufacturing, assembly, shipping and receiving, pickers/packers, material handlers, forklift drivers, machine operators, and other required roles
• Support filling client temporary orders and temp-to-hire placements
• Serve as a central contact for hiring managers and recruiting to identify openings
• Conduct orientations and deliver safety training, including review of GMPs and PPE requirements
• Perform daily check-ins with XCEL employees and report absences or tardiness to management and/or supervisors
• Update employee and client profiles and records using Tempworks
• Produce and maintain heavy report generation
• Prepare payroll and related payroll reports
• Walk the production floor, complete quality checks, and handle disciplinary action as necessary
• Ensure employees follow GMPs and use PPE
• Complete injury reports and document as needed
• Maintain strong relationships with candidates, employees, and management
• Recruit from the local community using word of mouth, social media, and delivering flyers as required
• Implement company culture, values, and policies onsite
• Coordinate employee recognition company events

Requirements

• Experience working in the staffing industry in light industrial operations with a growing team of temporary associates
• Minimum 2 years of previous recruiting in a high-volume environment (full cycle recruiting)
• Bilingual English and Spanish required
• Ability to work a flexible schedule
• Clear and professional communication verbally and in writing
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel, plus ATS experience
• ATS tools used by XCEL: Timerack, Beyond, and Enterprise
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Outgoing and approachable personality
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment meeting daily deadlines
