Job summary

Peoplelink Group in Plymouth, IN is seeking a Recruiter to connect talent with manufacturing opportunities. This in-office role requires building candidate pools, interviewing, and coordinating placements for clients within the manufacturing sector.

You'll manage candidate data, communicate with clients, and navigate payroll and HR tasks as needed. The compensation ranges from $45k to $55k plus commission, with an 8-hour workday, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to independently manage the full recruiting cycle from candidate sourcing through placement and onboarding with minimal supervision.
  • 2+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in staffing, light industrial, manufacturing, warehouse, or high-volume recruiting.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain a candidate pipeline through job boards, social media, referrals, networking, job fairs, and community recruiting.
  • Ability to sell job opportunities and effectively communicate pay, schedules, requirements, and expectations to candidates.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain applicant, employee, and client data within operational software systems.
  • Log and document all applicant, employee or client communications in the software system.
  • Maintain client and personnel files in accordance to company filing system.
  • Accurately document in real time client job order requests and keep updated within operational software systems.
  • Maintain and update job descriptions for each client job order.
  • Understand and have ability to discuss with client bill-rates that are within cost factors and budget.
  • Recruit qualified candidates using all resources effectively.
  • Conduct interviews with potential candidates to evaluate work ethic, skills, and abilities.
  • Maintain and process HR roles such as Workers Compensation, Unemployment, payroll functions, employee disciplinary actions.
  • All other duties as assigned

How You’ll Do It

You will be expected to utilize and follow the company’s operational processes for screening, interviewing, and hiring employees for employment placement.

  • Accurately maintain and update applicant, employee, and client data within operational software systems
  • Log and document all applicant, employee or client communications in operational software system
  • Maintain client and personnel files in accordance to company filing system
  • Accurately document in real time client job order requests and keep updated within operational software systems
  • Maintain and update job descriptions for each client job order
  • Understand and have ability to discuss with client bill-rates that are within cost factors and budget
  • Recruit qualified candidates using all resources effectively
  • Conduct interviews with potential candidates to evaluate work ethic, skills, and abilities within the guidelines of the Assurelink process and best placement selection for customers
  • Maintain and process HR role such as Workers Compensation, Unemployment, payroll functions, employee disciplinary actions, and employee issues
  • All other duties as assigned
What You’ll Bring
  • Associate degree or High School diploma (or equivalent) or equivalent business experience
  • At least one year of previous recruiting experience, or equivalent combination of education, training, and recent, relevant industry experience
  • Strong affinity for business development and outside sales, including service calls and marketing calls
  • Above average communication skills to communicate with clients and candidates in both written and oral forms
  • Possess working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong customer service orientation and excellent interpersonal relations

Physical Requirements

To successfully perform the duties of this job, the staff associate is required to have the ability and skills sufficient to communicate and visit other offices, prospects and clients. Requirements

Must be able to independently manage the full recruiting cycle from candidate sourcing through placement and onboarding with minimal supervision.

  • 2+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in staffing, light industrial, manufacturing, warehouse, or high-volume recruiting.
  • Proven ability to source, interview, screen, and place candidates quickly and effectively.
  • Experience managing multiple open positions and high-volume requisitions at the same time.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain a candidate pipeline through job boards, social media, referrals, networking, job fairs, and community recruiting.
  • Experience conducting phone screens, interviews, reference checks, background checks, and pre-employment screenings.
  • Strong understanding of attendance, reliability, work history, and candidate qualification when determining job fit.
  • Ability to sell job opportunities and effectively communicate pay, schedules, requirements, and expectations to candidates.
  • Strong follow-up and communication skills with both candidates and clients.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment and meet recruiting/placement metrics.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage candidate records, onboarding, documentation, and follow-ups accurately.
  • Comfortable using ATS/recruiting systems, Microsoft Office, email, job boards, and social media recruiting platforms.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred, especially for high-volume manufacturing and warehouse recruiting.
  • Must demonstrate professionalism, urgency, accountability, and strong customer-service skills.
  • Ability to work Monday–Friday, in-office, and participate in recruiting events, job fairs, and community outreach when needed.
  • Staffing agency experience preferred.
