Job summary

Career Team is seeking an Adult and Dislocated Bilingual Career Advisor to provide career counseling, intensive case management, and follow-up services onsite in Novato, CA. The role reports to the Project Director and requires 100% onsite work at the listed location.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree or higher with 5+ years in operations, strong communication skills, and proficiency with MS Word/Excel and databases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of experience in operations or workforce development environments.
• Strong communication skills and knowledge about community resources.
• MS Word and Excel proficiency; ability to learn specialized databases and software systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide information and case management services to the community.
• Complete intake and eligibility determination for the workforce program.
• Assess jobseekers’ employment and training needs through interviewing, testing, and other methods.
• Serve as a liaison between workforce development programs and community partners.
• Enter data into participant information systems and other required databases.
• Develop individual employment plans (IEP) and provide referrals to contracted programs.
