Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is hiring a Nutrition Operator for full-time work in Richmond, VA. You will secure patient meal selections and special requests via phone or face-to-face interactions, supporting dietary needs with care and accuracy.

Shifts are 12 hours, 7:00 am–7:00 pm, with rotating weekends. A $500 sign-on bonus is offered after 30 and 90 days, plus a $1.00/hour weekend differential and free parking.

Qualifications

• 1 year of previous customer service experience required.
• 2 years of previous call center experience is preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follows proper telephone etiquette and procedures with patients, visitors and healthcare professionals.
• Offers alternatives to menu as allowed on prescribed diet in accordance with dietary restrictions and preferences.
• Responsive to patients' needs and resolves concerns or reports needed assistance to supervisor.
• Interacts with nursing to ensure patients' diet prescriptions are accurate, and patients' food needs are met.
• Follows HACCP guidelines when assembling and distributing food supplies to ensure quality and safety.
• Completes daily, weekly or monthly reports as outlined in policies and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
