Job summary

Rivermark Community Credit Union in Beaverton, OR is seeking a member service representative to open and service consumer and business accounts, and to provide financial solutions while delivering exceptional service. Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required.
• Minimum two years' experience in retail financial services.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Experience with consumer loans.
• Ability to represent the credit union to members and business partners in a friendly, positive, and professional manner.
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to accurately interpret and apply the credit union's policies and operational procedures.
• Maintains high standards in areas of security, accuracy, thoroughness, completeness and neatness of documentation, system input, and correspondence.
• Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality.
• Strong organization, planning and prioritization skills.
• Ability to learn and maintain thorough knowledge of the Credit Union’s products and services.
• Ability to effectively sell credit union products and services to members, using consultative selling skills to define and recommend enhancements to the member's financial services.

Responsibilities

• Focused on improving the financial lives of members by building strong relationships, delivering exceptional service, and recommending and providing product and service solutions for member needs.
• Responsible for opening consumer and business accounts and loans, servicing existing accounts and loans, and occasionally conducting financial transactions.
