Oportun in the United States is hiring a Bilingual English and Spanish Member Loyalty Representative to deliver warm, personalized service at our stores. You will welcome members, process transactions, and educate on our affordable financial services while meeting daily goals in lending and servicing.

The role emphasizes outreach, outdoor activity, and community engagement, with weekend shifts and a flexible rotating schedule.

Qualifications

• Must be bilingual (English/Spanish).
• Available to work weekends with a rotating schedule.
• Regular, reliable attendance to support store operations.
• Willing to work outdoors year-round to identify new sales opportunities.
• Ability to lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds.
• Basic computer skills and ability to operate office equipment (phones, scanners, iPads).
• Ability to organize and file paper documents.

Responsibilities

• Welcome members with a warm greeting and provide quality member service.
• Seamlessly process all transactions, while following company policies & procedures and protecting members’ information.
• Work as a team or independently, including time alone in the store without direct supervision or with coworkers, while exceeding daily goals in lending and servicing activities.
• Outreach activities at stores, partner locations and community events to educate potential members about Oportun’s services.
• Light housekeeping to keep the work area inviting and presentable.
• Use a computer for administrative tasks and servicing members (approx. 3–6 hours per day).
• Stand while assisting members; sitting allowed during non-member-facing tasks.
