Job summary

CVS Health, in partnership with Oak Street Health, seeks a Medical Scribe to support primary care providers with clinical documentation. You will observe visits, document encounters, and help with next steps and after-visit summaries.

Ideal candidates commit to 1–2 years, bring medical terminology knowledge and clinical experience, and may be fluent in Spanish or other languages. The role is based in CVS/Oak Street clinics with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Advanced listening and communication skills required.
• Strong computer literacy and ability to learn new workflows.
• Spanish, Polish, Russian, or other languages spoken by patients is required where indicated.
• US work authorization is required.

Responsibilities

• Documenting patient encounters in a structured note with history, assessment, plan, and exam.
• Join providers in the exam room to observe visits and document.
• Assign CPT and ICD-10 codes and prepare After Visit Summaries.
• Support daily huddles, clinical documentation reviews, and care team activities.
• Provide administrative support and help with referrals and tasks.
