Toppenish Medical-Dental Clinic in Toppenish, WA is hiring a Medical Receptionist to join our front desk team. You will greet patients, schedule appointments, verify insurance, and maintain accurate patient records in a fast-paced clinic environment.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and preferably one year of clinic receptionist experience. Bilingual English/Spanish is required at level 9, with compensation reflecting bilingual differential.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED required
• One year's experience as a Receptionist in a clinic preferred
• Bilingual English/Spanish required at level 9
• Ability to prioritize tasks with frequent interruptions
• Professional interaction with patients, providers and staff
• Basic familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare billing

Responsabilidades

• Answers the phone, transfers calls, and takes messages for the clinic
• Greet patients and maintain logs; provide translation as needed
• Ensure complete data collection and register new patients
• Schedule appointments and update schedules as needed
• Verify insurance eligibility and explain plans to patients
• Respond to patient questions in person, by phone, and online
• Post patient encounters and assist with end-of-day reporting
• Review cash receipts and reconcile daily cash box
• Perform other duties as assigned
