Job summary

Miramar Health Center Kennewick, WA, is seeking a Temporary Medical Receptionist for a full-time 40-hour week. The role acts as the frontline contact, greeting patients, scheduling, data entry, and basic billing tasks, supporting providers and ensuring smooth operations.

Qualifications include a High School diploma, one year clinic receptionist experience, bilingual English/Spanish at a high level, and proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year of receptionist experience in a clinic preferred.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) with ALTA score 9 required.
• Strong customer service and professional communication.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology and billing.
• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, transfer calls, and take messages.
• Greet patients, maintain logs, and translate as needed.
• Ensure accurate data collection and update patient charts.
• Schedule appointments and manage no-shows/cancellations.
• Verify insurance eligibility and explain plans as needed.
• Assist with billing tasks and daily reconciliation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
