Medical Specialists of the Palm Beaches, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Bilingual Medical Receptionist to join our Palm Beach-area practice. The role involves greeting patients, validating insurance and demographics, ensuring referrals, and guiding new patients through paperwork and sign-in processes.

You will handle calls, scheduling, data entry, chart handling, and general administrative duties to keep the office running smoothly. Bilingual English/Spanish required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, medical insurance billing, and computer systems is preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients as they arrive and assist them with signing in.
• Verify and update patient insurance and demographic information.
• Ensure that referrals are correct for HMO patients.
• Direct new patients to complete necessary paperwork and file it in their charts.
• Answer incoming phone calls, schedule appointments, and direct calls to staff.
• Enter and update patient demographic information in the computer system.
• Ensure demographic information is filed properly at day's end for billing.
• Pull patient charts for incoming faxes and handle them appropriately.
• Perform additional administrative duties as assigned to support office operations.
