Medical Specialists of the Palm Beaches, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented bilingual Medical Receptionist in Palm Springs, FL. The role requires greeting patients, verifying insurance and demographics, and managing appointments with a focus on excellent customer service to keep the office running smoothly.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in a medical setting, familiarity with CPT/ICD-10 codes and Athena software, and strong organizational and communication skills. High school diploma required.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, insurance billing, and computer systems preferred.
• Billing/coding education or certification a plus.
• Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10 codes and Athena software a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Greet patients and assist with sign-in.
• Verify and update insurance and demographic information.
• Ensure referrals are in place and direct new patients to complete paperwork.
• Answer phones, schedule appointments, and route calls.
• Update sign-in and patient charts; file demographics accurately.
• Pull charts for faxes and handle documents properly.
• Perform additional administrative duties as needed.
