Tiburcio Vasquez Health Center invites applications for the Appointment Clerk/Medical Receptionist role. You will be the first point of contact by phone, greet patients, and support the clinic staff to ensure smooth patient flow and service excellence.

Responsibilities include scheduling appointments, verifying Medicaid/Medicare or private insurance, collecting data, and maintaining front-desk areas in an organized manner.

Qualificações

• Intermediate to advanced phone skills and clear communication.
• Flexible to accommodate changing department needs.
• Basic to intermediate computer knowledge and data entry ability.
• Typing speed of at least 45 WPM.
• Willingness to work evenings and/or weekends as required.
• Bilingual English and Spanish is required.

Responsabilidades

• Performs day-to-day administrative functions and general office duties.
• Provides information to clinic callers and transfers calls as needed.
• Welcomes and assists patients/visitors and directs them appropriately.
• Schedules patient flow and appointments to meet grant requirements.
• Screens patients for new address/visits and updates registration details.
