Tiburcio Vasquez Health Center (TVHC) is seeking a Dental Receptionist who will be the first point of contact across multiple dental sites. The role focuses on scheduling, record management, front-office operations, and delivering compassionate customer service in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.

The position is full-time (40 hours/week), with potential Saturday hours. TVHC offers strong benefits and a comprehensive compensation package within a SEIU framework.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
• Minimum of one (1) year experience in a dental setting highly preferred.
• Knowledge of dental terminology and community knowledge preferred.

Aufgaben

• Performs day-to-day administrative functions and general office duties (word processing, copying, filing, faxing, data entry).
• Maintains waiting areas, files and front-desk areas in an organized, neat manner.
• Provide excellent customer service with confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Greet patients/visitors and direct to appropriate person or department.
• Make patient appointments, send reminders, and manage scheduling changes.
• Verify payment methods and collect data or payments as appropriate.
• Assist patients with insurance forms and register data in electronic/paper records.
• Triages patients to priority appointments based on urgency and availability.
• Audit registration data for accuracy and completeness.
