Job summary

Sante Health System in Fresno, CA is seeking a full-time Medical Front Office to join Fresno Digestive Health. You will check in patients, verify eligibility, collect copays, update information and greet visitors with outstanding customer service.

Candidates should have front desk experience; EPIC and NextGen knowledge is a plus, and bilingual Spanish/English is preferred. This role includes scheduling, data entry, HIPAA compliance and supporting a busy clinical team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years front desk experience.
• Knowledge of EPIC and NextGen preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish/English for Spanish speaking patients preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a prompt, courteous and helpful manner.
• Check in patients: verify eligibility, confirm and update demographics, collect copays.
• Answer phones, schedule appointments, and direct calls as needed.
• Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Maintain a neat and organized work area and lobby.
