Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Patient Concierge to support Practice Operations in Fresno, CA. You will greet patients, manage front-desk tasks, schedule appointments, verify insurance data, and ensure accurate recordkeeping to streamline patient experiences.

The role emphasizes non-clinical support, excellent service, and reliable attendance in a busy medical office environment in the Central Valley.

Qualifications

Medical office experience preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience accessing and updating an EMR system.
Bilingual preferred.
Must be available to work Monday - Thursday, 11:30am-8pm and Friday, 9:30am - 6pm.

Responsibilities

Greet patients and families.
Answer center telephones, distribute faxes, and prepare customer files.
Schedule patient appointments.
Receive and correctly record receipts of patient payments.
Enter, verify and update patient demographic and insurance information.
Obtain insurance verifications (VOB), pre-authorizations and pre-determinations.
Process requests for records from outside sources.
Scan data into document imaging software.
Regular attendance and punctuality.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Ensures that all processing and reporting deadlines are consistently achieved.
Perform any other functions as required by management.
