Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of three years of medical front office experience.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and computer experience; experience with Medical Manager software preferred.
• NextGen and Epic knowledge a plus.
• Fluency in English and Spanish (spoken and written) required.

Responsibilities

• Book, coordinate and reschedule patients' consultations and procedure appointments.
• Greet patients and verify insurance information.
• Print and register referrals from fax queue and Epic; manage patient files.
• Handle patient check-out and follow-up appointments; assist in room and equipment maintenance.
• Coordinate and mail out packets; manage recalls and screenings weekly.
