Job summary

Englewood Health is seeking a Medical Assistant/Receptionist for OmniCare services across Belleville, East Orange and West Orange. The role involves patient interviews, data entry, and coordinating patient flow between the waiting area and exam rooms.

Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred, with a daytime schedule and a focus on primary care settings. Requirements include a high school diploma (or 5 years MA/PCT experience), CPR certification, and CMA/RMA/PCT credentials.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years MA/PCT experience.
• Completion of an accredited MA/PCT program preferred.
• Current CPR Certification.
• CMA/RMA/PCT certification as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients and gather personal, demographic, and financial information.
• Answer telephones and provide customer assistance.
• Perform clerical tasks, data entry, and chart/documentation duties.
• Assist with patient flow from waiting area to exam rooms and prep patients for the physician.
