Job summary

Englewood Health is hiring a Medical Assistant/Receptionist for a full-time role in Fair Lawn, NJ. You will interview patients, manage registrations, perform clerical tasks and help flow patients to exam rooms, ensuring efficient use of the physician's time.

Responsibilities include Epic knowledge, prior auth, and adherence to CPR and CMA/RMA/PCT certifications. Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus, with a comprehensive benefits package offered.

Qualifications

• Current CPR Certification.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) / Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) / Patient Care Technician (PCT).
• Injection administration and medication documentation/handling certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivery of primary health and patient care management.
• Interview patients and representatives to collect personal, demographic and financial information.
• Perform routine clerical tasks: answering phones, data entry and patient registration.
• Help with patient flow from waiting area to exam rooms and prepare patients for exams.
• Experience with medical terminology and practice management systems preferred.
