Qualifications
Bilingual in Korean/English is required.
High School Graduate or equivalent or 5 years of Medical Assistant experience.
Completion of an accredited program for Medical Assistant preferred.
Current CPR Certification preferred.
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)/Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification required.
Responsibilities
Welcomes patients and visitors by greeting them in person or on the telephone.
Maintains patient files, records, and other information.
Keeps patient appointments on schedule by verifying insurance benefits.
Takes patient histories and vital signs and documents in EMR/EHR systems.
Assists the physician in preparing for minor surgeries and basic wound care.
