The role involves assisting in primary health care, handling patient registration tasks, and maintaining medical records. The ideal candidate is bilingual in Korean/English, preferably with formal Medical Assistant training and CPR certification. Qualifications

• Bilingual in Korean/English is required.
• High School Graduate or equivalent or 5 years of Medical Assistant experience.
• Completion of an accredited program for Medical Assistant preferred.
• Current CPR Certification preferred.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)/Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes patients and visitors by greeting them in person or on the telephone.
• Maintains patient files, records, and other information.
• Keeps patient appointments on schedule by verifying insurance benefits.
• Takes patient histories and vital signs and documents in EMR/EHR systems.
• Assists the physician in preparing for minor surgeries and basic wound care.
