Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent; 5 years MA/PCT experience acceptable.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant/PCT program preferred.
• Current CPR certification; CMA/RMA/PCT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interviews patients or representatives to collect demographics, insurance, and ID information.
• Answers phones, greets the public, and performs registration-related data processing and entry.
• Assists with patient flow from waiting area to exam rooms and prepares patients for the physician.
