Job summary

ArchWell Health seeks a Medical Assistant to support PCPs, greet and room members, and assist with routine diagnostic testing. The MA will collaborate with a care team to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care.

The role requires bilingual English/Spanish proficiency, at least 1 year of MA experience, and a focus on compassionate patient interaction. Familiarity with EMR systems and health coaching is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduation from a nationally accredited Medical Assistant program or comparable healthcare vocational training required.
• Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant work experience.
• Must be bilingual (English/Spanish) and pass proficiency exam.
• 6+ months phlebotomy experience highly desired.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
• EClinical Works or similar EMR experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake with patients, measure vital signs, interview, and document medical history.
• Assess patient health conditions and provide routine diagnostic testing.
• Communicate with PCP, specialists, and clinical staff for patient needs.
• Change dressings, apply bandages, suture removal, CPR as needed under supervision.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and proper documentation.
• Provide health coaching and follow up with patients weekly.
