Job summary

ArchWell Health is seeking a bilingual Medical Assistant to support the primary care team in Mesa, AZ. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bilingual; pass language proficiency exam as part of selection.
• At least 1 year work experience as Medical Assistant.
• 6+ months phlebotomy experience desired.
• Graduation from a nationally accredited Medical Assistant program or comparable training.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
• EClinicalWorks or similar EMR experience.
• Experience with geriatric patients is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake with patients, measuring and recording vital signs, patient interview, and medical history; perform examinations and routine screenings.
• Greet and room ArchWell Health members; assist PCP day-to-day.
• Process patient messages, routing calls and relaying pertinent information to the physician.
• Change dressings, apply bandages, remove sutures and other first aid procedures under physician supervision.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and maintain accurate, ethical documentation.
• Provide health coaching to a defined group of patients with weekly follow-ups.
