Job summary

A high school diploma and 1 year MA experience are required, with BLS certification and EMR experience (EClinicalWorks). Bilingual skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduation from a nationally accredited Medical Assistant program or comparable healthcare vocational training required.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake with patients, measuring and recording vital signs and medical history.
• Assist PCP with examinations, routine screenings, and patient education.
• Communicate effectively with patients and care team; triage and relay information to physicians.
• Perform wound care tasks (dressings, bandages, sutures) under supervision.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and proper documentation at all times.
• Provide health coaching and follow-up calls to patients.
• Utilize EMR for patient records (EClinicalWorks or similar).
