Job summary

ACCESS Community Health Network is seeking staff to work with a skilled care team to provide quality health services and resources to patients.

You will assist providers with onsite procedures, take vital signs and administer vaccines, respond to patient inquiries, schedule appointments, and review medical records. Training includes Epic EHR usage to enhance care delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a clinical office/healthcare environment (registration, referrals, medical assisting or customer service).
• 1 year EHR experience preferred; EPIC experience a plus.
• Bilingual Spanish required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Position Summary

• Work in collaboration with a skilled care team that includes dedicated providers, benefits specialists, front desk receptionists, behavioral health consultants and others to provide quality health services and resources to meet our patients’ needs.
• Assist providers with onsite procedures.
• Take vital signs, perform phlebotomy and administer medications/vaccines directly to patients.
• Assist patients by responding to questions, returning calls, scheduling appointments and reviewing medical records.
• Continue to grow your knowledge base through extensive clinical training and technical training with Epic, one of the leading Electronic Medical Record Systems globally.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum 1-year experience in a clinical office or health care environment in patient registration, referrals, medical assisting or customer service required.
• 1-year EHR Systems experience, preferred, EPIC a plus
• Bilingual/Spanish
• Beginning proficiency Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
