Job summary

Responsibilities

• Coordinate purchasing orders with sales staff and customers.
• Receive, process, and prepare orders for pickup or delivery.
• Coordinate product transfers between locations.
• Arrange shipments via trucking companies.
• Provide load requirement information to drivers.
• Ensure orders are accurate and timely.
• Operate truck scales and related documents.
• Prepare and manage bills of lading and hazardous material shipping docs.
• Receive inquiries via phone and email and respond professionally.
• Give clear verbal and written instructions to customers and staff.
• Track inventory levels in warehouse and bulk storage.
• Calculate product quantities by weight or volume.
• Provide customer service support as needed.
• Assist other dispatchers as needed and answer phones.
• Assign and monitor drivers on routes.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
