Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a skilled Dispatcher in Michigan to manage drivers, oversee customer deliveries and monitor equipment. The role requires coordinating daily delivery schedules and mentoring dispatch staff to ensure timely, safe, and accurate service.

Responsibilities include communicating with shippers and 3PLs, handling front-line customer service for existing accounts, and using the TMW Dispatch system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor Degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of dispatching experience.
• Excellent conflict resolution and skills.
• Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Knowledge and ability to use Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assess customer needs and timing of deliveries.
• Manage daily delivery schedule for drivers.
• Lead and mentor dispatching staff.
• Plan deliveries to inventory-managed retail gas outlets.
• Communicate with shippers and 3PLs.
• Provide frontline customer service for existing accounts.
• Answer all incoming phone calls promptly and courteously.
• Monitor e-mail for incoming orders, customer requests and team communications.
• Monitor web portals and input necessary information.
• Using TMW Dispatch system.
• Daily tracking of all chemical trailers.
• Divide dispatch responsibilities with other team members.
• Work in a fast-paced environment.
