Job summary

TOP Group - Japanese Recruiting Agency is seeking a Logistics Agent for a Japanese freight forwarding client. This full-time, direct-hire role focuses on import/export documentation and day-to-day logistics support.

You will handle customs paperwork, data entry, coordination with overseas offices, and tracking shipments, ensuring carrier compliance and timely updates to customers. Requirements include business-level bilingual Japanese/English, strong communication, ability to lift heavy items,

Qualifications

Bilingual in Japanese and English at business level.
Strong communication and organizational abilities.
Ability to lift and move heavy packages.
Warehouse or forklift experience is a plus.
Eligible to obtain TSA/STA clearance with company support.

Responsibilities

Prepare and submit customs documentation including import/export declarations and invoices.
Handle daily admin tasks, data entry, and maintain accurate records.
Coordinate with overseas offices, agents, and customers via email and phone.
Track shipments and provide updates to customers.
Coordinate delivery scheduling and ensure carrier compliance.
Support warehouse operations, including packing air cargo shipments.
Provide occasional weekend support as needed.
