Pasona N A, Inc. is seeking a Japanese/English bilingual Project Logistics Manager to coordinate complex transportation projects involving heavy-lift, oversized, and project cargo.

You will manage planning, execution, and communication with global customers and partners, ensuring safe, on-time delivery. The role emphasizes transportation planning, operational coordination, and project execution rather than sales, with remote work options and opportunities to travel for site surveys and client

Qualificações

• Bilingual in Japanese and English, including speaking, reading, and writing.
• 5+ years of experience in project logistics, freight forwarding, or international transportation, with heavy/oversized cargo experience.
• Strong understanding of project cargo operations, heavy-lift transportation, and multimodal logistics.
• Experience coordinating carriers, subcontractors, customers, and internal stakeholders.
• Willingness and ability to travel for customer meetings, site surveys, and project operations.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and coordinate domestic and international transportation projects involving heavy, oversized, and breakbulk cargo.
• Develop transportation plans, schedules, and service solutions based on customer requirements.
• Coordinate multimodal transportation with ocean carriers, heavy-haul providers, rigging companies, stevedores, and other logistics partners.
• Monitor shipment progress, resolve operational issues, and maintain clear communication throughout each project.
• Coordinate on-site project cargo operations and support safe loading, unloading, and cargo handling.
• Research, evaluate, and coordinate qualified subcontractors and transportation providers.
• Conduct route surveys, including port facilities, access routes, and delivery sites.
• Gather and analyze transportation costs and prepare project cargo quotations in collaboration with internal teams and overseas offices.
• Identify operational risks and develop practical solutions to support safe and efficient execution.
• Serve as a key operational contact for domestic and international customers.
