Avanath Capital Management, LLC is seeking a Leasing Specialist for Bay Vista at Meadow Park. You will handle leasing, marketing, and positive resident relations within the community, maintaining professionalism and engagement with residents and staff.

The role requires 2+ years in sales or customer relations, knowledge of Yardi Voyager, and a flexible schedule that may include evenings and weekends. Bilingual English/Spanish is highly desired.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sales and/or customer relations experience.
• Low-income housing and tax credit experience is highly desired.
• Bilingual (English & Spanish) highly desired.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible schedule that may include evenings and weekends.
• Solid computer knowledge, Windows (Word, Excel), internet, and e-mail.
• Working knowledge of Yardi Voyager Property Management software.

Responsibilities

• Greet and qualify all prospects.
• Record all telephone and in-person visits on guest cards.
• Inspect models and communicate service needs to Community Manager.
• Demonstrate community features and close the sale.
• Have the prospect complete the application and secure a deposit.
• Update availability report and process applications for approvals.
• Ensure apartment is ready for move-in on the agreed date.
• Follow up on prospects who did not close and refer to sister communities if needed.
• Secure new resident signatures and orient new residents to the community.
• Assist in monitoring renewals and distribute renewal notices.
• Type lease and input data in Yardi accurately.
• Maintain current resident files and distribute notices.
• Maintain monthly commission records for bonuses.
• Assist management with various tasks and uphold policies.
