Job summary

Avanath Capital Management, LLC is seeking a Leasing Specialist in Vallejo, CA to drive leasing, marketing, and resident relations within our community. The role requires professionalism, strong customer focus, and the ability to engage both residents and staff for optimal occupancy.

Responsibilities include greeting prospects, processing applications, and maintaining accurate records in Yardi. A fast-paced schedule with occasional evenings/weekends is expected.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sales and/or customer relations experience.
• Experience with low-income housing and tax credit is highly desired.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly desired.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can handle flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Greet and qualify all prospects.
• Record all visits on guest cards and maintain accurate records.
• Inspect models and communicate service needs to the Community Manager.
• Demonstrate community features and close the sale.
• Process applications and deposits per company policy and Fair Housing rules.
• Update availability reports and process approvals.
• Ensure apartments are ready for move-in on the agreed date.
• Follow up on non-closers and refer to sister communities when needed.
