Job summary

Pomeroy in New York is seeking a bilingual IT Field Technician (English/Spanish) for a full-time, direct hire position serving stores in Queens and Brooklyn. You will plan, coordinate and manage field activities to support retail systems and customer relationships.

Daily travel across Queens/Brooklyn is required; a valid NY driver's license and reliable transportation are needed. The role involves on-site hardware/software installations, training store staff, and troubleshooting network

Qualifications

English and Spanish written and verbal communication skills, required.
College degree in IT or equivalent certifications preferred.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
Valid US driver's license and ability to travel daily.
Experience with network hardware or telecommunications and data communications troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Provide first point of contact for support issues at all stores.
Travel daily between stores in Queens and Brooklyn.
Process service tickets/work logs related to IT problems and train customers on applications and peripherals.
Elevate complex issues to appropriate team members.
Troubleshoot and correct problems on site and perform hardware/software installations.
Provide store training in hardware use and software applications.
Maintain in depth working knowledge of retail systems and processes.
