Job summary

Harvey Nash is partnering with a major supermarket chain to hire a Field Support Technician serving Brooklyn-area stores. You will travel daily between locations, troubleshoot desktops, networks, and printers, and install hardware and software.

Fluent Spanish and English are required, along with a valid drivers license and a personal vehicle. This is a full-time position with a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for support issues across retail stores.

• Handle service tickets and work logs; troubleshoot desktops, networks, software, and hardware.
• Train employees on applications and wireless peripherals.
• Elevate complex issues to the appropriate team.
• Perform hardware and software installations; configure Zebra devices and printers.
• Physically lift and move hardware as needed.

We are currently working with a well-known supermarket chain for a Field Support Technician role, where you will be supporting retail stores in the Brooklyn area. Here are the key details:

Title: Field Support Technician

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $55,000 annually

Benefits: A comprehensive benefits package is included

Requirements: Bilingual (Spanish and English) and must have a valid driver’s license and personal vehicle (fuel for store-to-store travel will be reimbursed at $0.67 per mile, with toll and parking expenses also covered. Please note that 10 miles will be deducted per day to account for the commute from home to office and back).

Role Responsibilities:

• Act as the first point of contact for support issues across various retail stores.

A reasonable, good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum annual salary for this position is $55,000 with full benefits.
