Job summary

USA Employment Lawyers, a Fort Lauderdale-based plaintiff-side boutique firm, seeks an Intake Specialist to be the first contact for potential clients nationwide. The role is in-office, Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and involves screening, gathering facts, and triaging cases to support wage-and-hour claims.

Strong Spanish/English skills and legal intake experience are preferred. Join a team focused on protecting workers’ rights while collaborating with attorneys to convert qualified

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
• Associate’s degree or higher preferred.
• Prior law firm intake experience preferred.
• Strong sales and client communication skills.
• Excellent organization and record-keeping.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, small-team environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle inquiries, conduct screenings, gather facts, and assess case viability.
• Respond to prospective clients with urgency to convert to signed clients.
• Send and explain engagement/retainer agreements.
• Decide on case acceptance to manage firm resources.
• Coordinate with clients and attorneys; arrange consultations.
• Perform background research on defendants and cases.
• Gather and organize intake documentation and open matters in legal software.
• Support reception and conference room setup.
