Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy practices.
• Ability to manage high call volumes and multitask across systems.
• Excellent data entry and documentation accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and provide orientation about services.
• Perform registration functions including insurance eligibility and demographic updates.
• Interview clients in person or by phone to collect information.
• Review forms for accuracy and completeness; assist client as needed.
• Verify legal name and identity per policy.
• Process insurance cards in EHR and review payer requirements.
• Collect financial information (payer name, ID, group, subscriber, guarantor).
• Explain consent information and obtain signatures.
• Complete registration the same day or within 24 hours.
• Respond to inquiries about registration and services, including Sliding Fee Scale.
• Handle high call volumes and multiple lines; multitask across systems.
• Maintain a clean, organized, confidential work environment.
• Document client interactions accurately; adhere to HIPAA.
