Angels of Care Pediatric Home Health is hiring an Intake Coordinator in Sherman, TX. This on-site role manages new patient referrals, verifies insurance benefits, coordinates intakes, and supports a smooth start of care for families and providers.

The ideal candidate will have healthcare administration or referral coordination experience, strong organizational skills, and be fluent in Spanish. The position offers growth and competitive benefits within a supportive HALOS culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in admin/healthcare roles preferred.
• Excellent communication, follow-up, and organizational skills.
• Bilingual in Spanish required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Handle new patient referrals from hospitals, doctors' offices, case managers, and other referral sources.
• Collect and verify information for new pediatric home health patients.
• Screen inquiry calls and schedule intakes with families or referral sources.
• Verify insurance benefits, including Medicaid and private insurance.
• Coordinate with case managers, clinical teams, and internal departments to assign and complete intakes.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow intake protocols.
• Support new client onboarding by ensuring all paperwork is completed.
• Communicate with families, internal staff, and community partners to coordinate a timely start of care.
