Turning Point of Central California, Inc. is seeking an Intake Coordinator (bilingual) to process referrals for Children’s Mental Health services. You will log referrals in the EMR, confirm eligibility, and interview guardians to open new client episodes.

The role requires bilingual English/Spanish communication, data-entry accuracy, and strong customer service. Responsibilities include coordinating intake assessments, collaborating with partners, and supporting outreach and logistics for

Qualifications

• Must have secondary degree or equivalent of two (2) or more years working at a job site as a clerical and/or social services staff.
• Experience with data entry including direct services.
• Knowledge of Turning Point Children’s Mental Health rules and procedures.
• Ability to work well with a diverse group of people.
• Maintain all training related to current job duties.
• Communicate effectively in written and spoken English.
• Ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken Spanish preferred.
• Intermediate computer skills in Office 365, Teams, Zoom and other communication/meeting platforms.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and have access to a dependable means of transportation that is properly insured and operated in accordance with all laws.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background check.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, and TB test.

Responsabilités

• Log and enter new referrals in the EMR in a timely manner.
• Determine and confirm eligibility of all new intakes prior to initial appointment.
• Meet with parents/guardians to complete admission documentation and enter new episodes in the EMR.
• Maintain integrity of clinical information entered into the EMR.
• Coordinate intake assessments with program staff.
• Interact with community partners to receive and make referrals.
• Provide verbal and written reports.
• Assist with answering phone calls or providing additional coverage.
