Qualifications

• 1+ years progressive work experience in the healthcare industry.
• 2+ years of customer service.
• Experience managing referrals and authorizations preferred.
• Experience documenting electronic medical records.
• Comfortable working independently.

Responsibilities

• Ensures the highest level of customer service possible.
• Greets and Welcomes patients to the clinic.
• Manages phone lines by answering, taking messages, and conducting outbound calls as instructed.
• Verifies that insurance benefits are active and up to date.
• Collects co-pays necessary for patient's visit.
• Updates patient information and makes changes to the EMR platform.
