Generac is seeking an Industrial Technical Support Specialist II to provide advanced support to our authorized dealer network. This role involves troubleshooting technical issues, authorizing warranty repairs autonomously, and mentoring staff in our Sussex office, requiring onsite presence five days a week.

Candidates should have an associate’s degree in a related field, extensive experience in technical support, and strong communication skills, with a focus on customer service and problem-solving.

Qualifications

• 3 years related technical experience in automotive repair, diesel engines, gaseous engines, or generators.
• 3 years of AC or DC Electrical experience.
• Ability to read and follow wiring diagrams and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical support to dealer technicians over the phone.
• Mentor less experienced technical service representatives.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues with products in the field.
