Job summary

Street Level Health Project in Oakland is seeking an Immigrant Defense Outreach Coordinator to support the Immigrant Defense program, dispatch the hotline, and organize outreach with coalition partners.

You will develop outreach materials, cover hotline, attend coalition meetings, and coordinate with the ID team and La Colectiva. Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred; 40 hours/week, in-person.

Qualifications

• Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English (oral and written).
• Strong commitment to immigrant rights and SLHP mission.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
• Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Valid California driver’s license with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch the hotline and manage intake for immigration services.
• Coordinate outreach activities and materials with coalition partners.
• Train staff and volunteers on intake and hotline processes.
• Maintain accurate data records and reports for the program.
• Engage with community groups across Alameda County and attend meetings.
