Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in Spanish and able to communicate with Spanish-speaking members of the public.
• A Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) is required with the application package.
• SOQ must address all sections, be typed, double-spaced and no more than 1 page.
• Must pass a bilingual proficiency assessment before hire.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake consultation assessments for various programs within the Labor Commissioner’s Office.
• Develop and prepare documented referrals to other units.
• Educate the public at field events on labor laws and rights.
• Provide information to underserved workers and stakeholders across California.
