Job summary

Centro Legal de la Raza, based in Oakland, is seeking a Temporary Community Education Coordinator to lead outreach and education efforts for immigrant communities across the Bay Area. You will coordinate events, develop partnerships, and support community services with ACILEP and staff.

You will create materials, train partners, and help expand outreach with a focus on language access. The role requires strong communication, project coordination, and familiarity with digital tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in outreach and education.
• Experience with social media and digital tools for outreach.
• Proven events planning and project coordination skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; intercultural awareness.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate community events, legal clinics, and convenings.
• Conduct outreach and education for linguistically diverse immigrant communities; train-the-trainer sessions.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with local organizations and volunteers.
• Create educational materials in collaboration with ACILEP and staff.
• Expand services by coordinating with service providers and navigation referrals.
• Collect feedback and track engagement metrics.
• Represent Centro Legal at community and public events.
